Powertecnique generator systems offer a flexible and varied approach to the growing needs of modern day power requirements and provide the user with a high level of security against short or prolonged mains interruptions. Our generators can be supplied for prime, standby or continuous applications, open, enclosed or sound attenuated and can be arranged for single or three phase outputs.
Powertecnique’s standard range of generator sets are built using the best components in the market and standard sets with a wide range of bolt-on options are available from 10kVA – 2100kVA.
Powertecnique Opensets

Powertecnique’s range of open skid generating sets are the result of many years of experience, innovative technology and the use of top quality components whilst maintaining tight controls over regulations on machine security. The result is a unique and innovative design enabling easy maintenance and low cost storage and transport whilst ensuring that Powertecnique’s open skid generators perform to the highest of clients’ expectations.
Our diesel range is EC compliant meeting the following regulations:
- 98/37/EC Machine Security.
- 73/23/EEC Voltage Limits.
- 89/336/EEC Electromagnetic Compatibility.
Our range of opensets also includes a wide variety of automatisms, for example:
- Key start up.
- Remote start or remote start via signal
- Automatic mains failure
- Synchronisation between generators and/or mains.

Powertecnique Soundproof Sets
Powertecnique’s range of soundproofed generating sets is the result of three factors put together; many years of experience, innovative technology and the selection of top quality components. These three factors together with maintaining strict control over complying with regulations on machine security has lead to a range of robust and reliable units built to the highest possible standard and able to withstand even the most challenging of work conditions.
Our soundproof diesel range is EC compliant and meets the following regulations:

- 2005/88/CE Noise emission by equipment for outdoor use.
Top Quality
The use of top quality components GUARANTEES endurance and ensures that noise level requirements are met.
- Seamless welded, steel base frame, coated with a phosphate primer and paint
- Durable sheet steel canopy with stainless steel bolting
- Impact locks which ensure that the doors close in perfect adjustment with the canopy
- Strict painting process withholding 700 hours in saline mist chamber according to saline mist test ASTM B-117-57 T providing perfect performance against even the most aggressive of external conditions
- Glass fibre, fireproof, sound insulation, 50 mm in thickness and 80 mm in density, protected by a waterproof coating and fixed to the metal edges on all top, sides and doors
- Stainless steel residential silencer
- Diesel engine fitted with an outdoor filtering system and condensation separator in the fuel supply
- High performance alternator.
Easy maintenance
The design GUARANTEES efficient maintenance, storage and transport.
- Engine and alternator easily accessible for maintenance or replacement purposes
- Central eyebolt lifting hook which allows the unit to be moved quickly and easily
- External access to the valve- controlled fuel tank avoiding leakages inside the enclosure
- Compact design with the aim of reducing transport and storage costs
- Coolant and engine oil may be drained externally
Maximum security
High security measures GUARANTEE that both people and the unit are adequately protected.
- Emergency stop button situated on the outside of the enclosure and next to the control panel.
- Magnetothermic protection against short circuits and overloads
- Earth leakage relay avoiding indirect contact with persons
- Battery disconnector
- Electric panel fitted with adequate instrumentation ensuring correct surveillance of the unit in operation via a see-through window
- Control card which guarantees amongst other factors, the automatic shutdown of the engine due to overheating, low oil pressure, low coolant level, start-up failure and emergency stop etc…
